Job Objective
- Plan, implement and monitor all school non-teaching activities relating to pupils’ trips and staff official trips to ensure efficient and safe service delivery.
- Support resources procurement activities whenever required.
- Support in the development and implementation of school policies which ensure protection, safety and safeguarding of pupils and staff in the course of journey activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plans and implement the termly colour-coded pupils’ bus routes and integrate same with the School Management Software (SMS) for automation.
- Designs and regularly update bus manifests and checklists to be used by bus minders, and keep record of same for trip audits purposes.
- Plans and manage all pupils’ trips including daily pick-ups and drop-offs, learning trips, logistics for community pupils during common exams and events.
- Assigns bus minders to routes and manage performance in line with the RAIS Safeguarding Policy.
- Facilitates safety briefings for bus minders at least two times in a week.
- Manages staff official trips, including expatriates’ movements on the Island.
- Works with relevant stakeholders within the company to ensure availability of buses and safety of pupils and staff at all times.
- Keeps movement register for all company vehicles assigned to the school.
- Facilitates the procurement requirements of the School on the basis of the procurement policy guidelines.
- Compliance with procurement procedures, ensuring relevant procurement procedures have been applied and all supporting documentation is attached
Education
- A University degree in any discipline with a minimum of 2nd class honours lower division (2:2).
Others
- Possession of NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) Certificate/Exemption Letter.
- Possession of Journey Management & Relevant HSE Certifications.
- Possession of Training in Child Protection.
Experience
- Have not less than three years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in working with children and child protection management is an advantage.
- Inventory Management/Procurement experience is an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Not more than 45 years old by September 1, 2022.
Working Hours
- 7.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday
